When I was testing software for a certain dev. they would claim to spend a lot of resources on wii versions of games but in reality it gets just as much time as the ps2. basically the same development process.
At the beginning of '07 and '08 we saw the same articles "how devs will spend more money on wii development" yet we never see any outcome. It usually dies off within a couple months of seeing shovelware after shovelware released.

I feel like Windows gets the same hate as the PS3 from the media. I wish people wouldn't knock something until they try it. Windows 7 is the best OS I've ever used. Does XP use less resources, yes. But you can't compare the functions of a BMW to a Honda. A Honda will get you from point A to point B. A BMW will get you there costing you a little more gas (resources) but in style and safer.
I don't even understand how people can complain about how W7 isn't as secure as Vista...
I believe you mean Sony and Nintendo. Sony was supposed to make a cd drive for nintendo to compete with sega cd but they couldnt work out an agreement on the software. Sony was like "we already dumped all this money into this gaming cd drive we might as well use it" and made the playstation 1.

This 'feature' is kind of like "The Club" (steering wheel lock).
-XP has no club, if a person wants your car they will take it.
-W7 has the club, if a person wants your car they will take it, it will just take 30 seconds longer.
Anything can be hacked. IMO this IS a feature. Nobody should rely only on windows...any version...to be your end all security. There's PLENTY of free software out there that does an excellent job at protecting your...

You can tell people aren't very smart when they use the built in thesaurus for every other word. This review is BS. An 8/10 is a pretty good score, thats not my complaint. The vocabulary and poor usage of it is evident the person is trying to sound smarter than they really are.

The one and only game that killed the Halo hype was Halo 3. Killzone 2 is just in a class of it's own.

They MIGHT have a couple crappy games left but all the big games worth buying are NOT marked down, same goes for the systems. the liquidators put clearance prices on all the slow selling products first so they can get those out the door. All the good stuff will go to the employees and their friends and family because they get to see the sales each day. I guess it's kinda fitting seeing that they are losing their job pretty soon.
the beta ends August 1 '09 and supposedly the final version will be released simultaneously with the ending of the beta. kinda like, "DING, your beta has ended, to continue using windows full features you must purchase a license." I almost want to install W7 over vista and just use it as my main OS in the mean time. not sure how my money situation will be around august though so i dont want to be stuck with no operating system or have to do a fresh install of vista. to do to do?? ...
I have windows 7 running on an old Pentium 4 3.0ghz w/ HT and 1.3 GB of ram and it runs quicker than Vista on my Pentium dual core duo 2.24ghz with 3 GB of ram.
in the windows experience score my dual core duo has a base score of 4.0 and on my old Pentium 4 cpu its a 2.3 but it runs windows 7 a LOT faster than the faster computer.
I cant wait for this new operating system comes out. copy or not, im going to use it and im glad its much better than vista.

its cool to disagree but you give no reason why. opera works well for what it does but firefox has more functions and makes the process more efficient. From looking at pictures on cooliris, no script, WOT, FireFTP, adblock, pdf converter, video downloader, the add on list goes on and on. you can customize firefox to pretty much any use you need. yep gotta agree. its like comparing firefox to opera. opera is a great browser and the footprint is fairly small but firefox has all the add ons that add to the memory usage but make the total experience better. opera will get the basic job done faster but firefox does it more efficiently. if you turn off a lot of the functions so W7 is almost the same as XP you will notice a huge difference in speed. the added functions in W7 make the overall process minimally slower than XP but at the sa...
yeah i used some of these before also. its nice for a refresher. since i installed windows 7 ive been doing a lot of downloading programs and updating software. while ive done this hack on two of my other computers before i forgot to do it on this computer so its a good reminder.

thats odd they would say this being that when i tested this game we always got the 360 build a day ahead of ps3 and pc. regardless this game looks really good on both consoles. i couldnt see a difference visually on the consoles, but the pc version definitely looks a little better.
